Scheduling practice been tough with the heavy game schedule for our Varsity and JV teams, but a few of our 13U guys worked out on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
On Wednesday, it was Matthew, Jason and Skylar. We got ball handling and on-ball defensive work in. Timed fullcourt layup drills -- Sky edged Jason by 1/100th of a second for the best time (right handed). Sky was actually faster on the lefties.
Good workout overall though Sky suffered from not eating his lunch at home. Guys and gals, please please take care of yourselves and eat properly. Oreo cookies are NOT a real substitute for a well-cooked and nutritious meal that your mom or dad lovingly prepared for you.
On Thursday, Ryan and Matthew worked out. Matthew already got a lot of running done the day before and Ryan had a Kalani JV game later so we focused on shooting fundamentals and reps. Ryan hit 32 treys in our 60-second drill at each spot (corners, wings, top).
We also got a lot of triple-threat reps in from both wings.
