Send total tix sold, funds submitted

Aloha H1 Thunder Ohana. Parents, please do me a favor. Send me the number of huli chicken tickets you sold and the amount of money you submitted. I know this seems repetitive since I have a list in my little black book. But it was somewhat hectic at times collecting funds, giving change to customers, etc. Especially with the unsold tickets I collected and redistributed during the week, some of us sold a second allotment and I don't want to miss on anything.

So please send the info. It should match up with what I have. Then I'll be able to credit each player for sold tickets and update his Player Budget.

If, if, if you have sold tickets and didn't submit all the money yet, please let me know. I'm crunching the numbers and trying to make sense of what the revenue should be on 454 half-chickens at $7 each, and what was actually collected. It's not a big difference, but it's enough to have me double and triple checking everything.

All in all, it was a very worthwhile fundraiser. Major props to all the parents who literally went the extra mile to sell tickets and even DELIVER in many cases. Example: Josh Roberts' mom, Michelle, sold 50 tickets to her co-workers in Dispatch and delivered en masse this afternoon and spending time as part of the crew at the huli chicken pickup.

Mahalo, parents. Send in the info ASAP please, and thank you again for being so ON IT!

454 orders (half chickens)
> 400 original tickets
> 50 extra orders
> 4 free half-chckens (Hoku BBQ)
Revenue should be $3,178

Actual revenue in hand: $2,981
> This includes the extra dollars in the tally after I gave out $1 bills as change to many customers.
> Does not include a donation from super supporter Mrs. Chang (not counting her buying the team shave ice woohoo!) or a donation from our Texas Thunder fan, Kevin Au. (THANK YOU, KEVIN!)

Also, 9 banana breads sold. Mahalo to Drake (Tani, Chris and DJ's dad) for working since 11 pm the night before to bake the loaves that Mrs. Chang calls "onolicious. (She bought two.)

Three loaves fed the kids as a snack. The remaining 7 loaves were donated after the fundraiser (by me), which makes it $160 in revenue. Thank you, Drake!!

Now please understand that REVENUE and NET PROFIT are two different things, right? Jimmy said he'll bill us later. I'm expecting him to charge us $3 or a little more for each half-chicken we ordered, which is a cost of $1,350 (or more). That's 450 x $3. The last 4 half-chickens were donated by the Hoku BBQ guys. It was solid working with them. (I bought them one of the banana bread loaves and the guy who had been working his okole off all day was very happy.)

So, if the numbers are right (probably off a bit), we should have a net profit somewhere around $1,800. But again, there is a bit of a difference between cash in hand and projected total revenue of about $200, which could show up once I get everybody's response on the ticket sale numbers and amount of funds submitted today. There might be a parent or two who hasn't turned in everything yet. I know there's at least one player who sold some tickets but wasn't at today's fundraiser, so that's part of the equation.

Whatever we end up with as the final official net profit, it was a win-win situation and I really, really hope Jimmy welcomes us back to fundraise for years to come. He seemed happy at the end of our day and said he's opening to helping us fundraise again. Jimmy has been a blessing to us, and I've learned that you never take a blessing for granted. Ever.

GOOD WORK THUNDER OHANA!!
