** Le Jardin League championship and third-place games.
We are not playing in the NJB tournament this week. Some of our 14U guys are too busy with school practices and games. Our 17U players and parents didn't express any interest when I asked over the past few weeks. A couple of them are going on vacation this week and the rest have practices/workouts with their school teams (etc.). So no sense paying $350 for each division when there's this much uncertainty.
We would've contended for the titles in both 14U and 17U, my opinion. But we still have three games this week plus fundraising. Again, EVERYONE is strongly encouraged to fund raise now while there's time in the summer for both the Maui trip and next summer's mainland trip. Every dollar counts but it'll be much, much harder to get out there to fundraise when you guys are busy during the school year.
The cost for each player on the mainland trip is roughly $1,500. Some of the Thunder players who have consistently fundraised this summer are already above $500 or close to it in just a few weeks.
NOTE: PAA league (JV, 11-Under, 9-Under) begins in late July. Ikaika league (V, JV) begins in early August. CAL (V, JV, 13U, 11U) begins in mid-August.
