It is, in essence, the original Beautiful Game. While the design is wonderful DNA, the guts of the system is work ethic. Like anything else, nothing worth working for is acquired without blood, sweat and tears, and not necessarily in this order.

H1 Thunder 49, HBA 36 (V)
Kalani Varsity League
We were up and down and up against the always tough Eagles. Jumped to a double-digit lead and then stopped communicating defensively as HBA got a roll of easy baskets.
We fell behind and stayed behind for awhile before rallying with our press to go ahead. Having 9 players today really helped. Our defensive energy was excellent in that rally. I like pressing of course but was hoping to save our legs for the rest of this week.
Good teamwork was key especially when HBA double teamed us -- as all ILH teams like to do -- at mid court. When we were patient, took a dribble backward and looked for our cutting teammates, layups followed.
Simplicity. Teamwork. Verbal communication. Heart. Intelligence. Champions. It usually works that way.
Lineup: Micah Visoria, Kapaa Nishimura, Chase Santos, Sierra Sisi, Michael, Kali'a Mielke, Felcris Ahadain, Radyn, Tenchi Robinson.
Next: Wednesday, 500 pm - Stretching/warmups at Le Jardin gym. 600 pm - H1 Thunder vs. Maryknoll.
WE LOVE THIS GAAAME!!
