Kiawe Heat only had 6 players, but they were a very solid 6, all skilled and athletic, playing well together. They had two or three tall guys with agility. Nice team and I won't be surprised if they win out from here.
Great effort by our Thunder Pups v2.0 in their first game of the CAL season. We were down 1 point at the half and stayed close all the way. We learned a lot today about our new Pups and there will be a multitude of adjustments going forward. To our veterans, thank you for being patient with our youngest and newest Thunder teammates. For our guys in new or slightly different roles, embrace it all and keep building together as a team, working day by day.
