13U's Ironman Perfornance

They did it. With only five players — Kyle, Sifo, Jerson, Walter and Little Paul — they rallied past the Knicks for a win. Don't know the final score, but we won by 10 or 12. Couldn't press with only five players, and even my plan for a modified press went out the window because our guys were tired and had some foul issues. But they pulled through. The Knicks have some talented players and a lot of younger players, similar to us.

Sifo, great composure and clutch play on offense and defense. (He shoots the 3 super good at Koko Head gym.) Kyle, great job handling the press and getting steals on passes. Jerson, great job on the fastbreak. Walter, super job on defense and boxing out. Little Paul, nice shooting and passing. Everybody was exhausted, but it's a "good tired" after a great team win.

Mahalo to Walter's parents for making awesome sandwiches for the kids!

We'll be at Makiki Park 1:00 pm for shooting drills and pizza. Not sure how many guys are coming, but I'll be there. So will Jerson.
