Just got a call from one of our parents, and it's official: There's not enough time for us to field a team in the Ikaika 9th-Grade League. Most of the players have plenty going on all weekend, and playing in this league would've meant three games plus a weekly workout with one of their coaches.
Much too much and totally understandable. Since we won't have enough players to field a team, I've informed the Ikaika League that we won't enter. The only thing that would change this is if we miraculously gained six or so players instantly who are ninth grade or younger.
So there. I hope that clarifies things. Ikaika League would've been frosting on the cake. We've got plenty to handle with the CAL League. Vroom vroom!
