Talked with Clay Tang of the Ikaika Basketball Club last night. All I could tell him is that we're a big maybe for their 9th-grade league. He's still looking for a 10th team and willing to allow us to enter a team of 10th graders. I told him we're not a long shot, but not a guarantee, either.
So, even though part of our CAL League roster isn't able to play in another league (they're really busy all weekend), we still might play. Looking at the actual lineup, we have more than a couple of players available for the Sunday night games at IBL: Tai, Josh, Cody, Keanu, Mike.
That's 5 players. If Dru plays, that would be six, but like Tai, he plays football and might not want to do anything on Sundays. Then again, he loves basketball, so who knows? Tai's going to play
If Colby and Kevin were to change their minds and play, plus Dru, that would make 8 players. That's solid. So I'm waiting for some feedback. If we do play in the Ikaika League, that would give us two games on Sundays. Lots of fun!
