Strong team effort, especially on defense. HG came with a stronger lineup than last time, hitting from the perimeter. The game was close until the second half, when our fullcourt pressure wore HG down.
A lot of organized chaos out there defensively on the press. Tani, Kanehe and Kapaa were relentless, and Anu kept busy with a lot of sharp passes in transition. Chase continues to crash the offensive glass and make plays defensively. Ray was determined to attack HG's man defense and got to the line quite a few times.
Solid play from our younger Thunder, too, executing fairly well against man defense. Some of our best offensive halfcourt execution came on pick-and-rolls by Tani and Kanehe.
