We got the same spot as last time (Memorial Day), but there's less parking (under the big tree, close to the beach/restrooms). Everybody might have to park across the field at Kapiolani Park and walk it.
Perfect day to be outside. Our spot has the big tree shade, Coach Bo's tent. We just need another grill when Bo leaves after lunch. He has another BBQ (at his house). We got lots of meat and refreshments. Could use a watermelon, more ice, more Thunder!
Epilogue: A truly great potluck. Just chilling out all day, talking story. Thunder kids in the water all afternoon, more grilling and steak and smores, then the fireworks show at 8:30 pm. Life is good.
