THE GOOD
>> Offensive rebounding, especially by Micah, who had eight.
>> Defensive pressure. Very good, almost great. We had 13 steals and did a good job of trapping without fouling. Much better in fullcourt and halfcourt pressure.
>> Pressbreaker. By our starters, it was flawless. We scored easy points.
THE BAD
>> Defensive rebounding. We allowed 11 offensive boards, including 10 in the second half. Our reserves did NOT box out at all and got punished.
>> Pressbreaker. Our reserves didn't run pressbreaker. Seems like whatever we practiced was completely forgotten by some of our Pups.
>> Free throws. Just 2-for-9. At least 50 a day will cure that.
>> Turnovers. 17 total. Way too much, mostly from sloppy passing. We can do well against any team if we have less than 10 turnovers. But having more turnovers (17) than baskets (14) is just silly.
Overall, a solid effort against a tall frontcourt. Good ball movement, mostly good push on the fastbreak. A good first win in PAA 13U.
