Seattle Reign

Congratulations to Chris Afe, who caught a 30-yard TD pass and made a TD-saving tackle on a kickoff for the Hawaii squad that beat Washington 30-16 last week at the Tanoa Bowl in Seattle, Wash.

Chris was a bit jet-lagged after returning home and there was little rest for the weary. He played with his H1 Thunder (13U) on Sunday, helping us rally past the Aiea Blazers 47-44. He had 11 points and anchored the middle, the first time in ages we've had a real big man (6-foot-2, 230 pounds) on the court.

Chris is in combine training this week. Not his favorite thing, running those L-drills, T-drills, shuttle runs and all, but he's there at the field working hard. WAY TO GO, CHRIS!
