Monday funday

Windy afternoon at Makiki Park. We didn't waste time working on shooting drills because of the wind, but we got through part of my check list for this week. A lot of work with pressbreaker, step by step, totally breaking it down part by part. All 5 Thunder guys at practice today got plenty of reps with that. Make a mistake? Keep repping. That's the key to gaining confidence and success.

We got a lot of work done with defensive positioning again. We had a guys out of position, both newer and experienced Thunder, during recent games, so it's always important to get back to basics and straighten things out.

All in all, a solid practice, got lots of conditioning done in a practical way. Hopefully, our sick and injured Thunder return soon. Josh R is ill and Trinity got hurt (not sure when), according to Chaz, and went to the doctor on Monday. Prayers for good, quick healing for our keikis!

Friday - No practice.
Saturday - 3:00 pm - Practice at Makiki Park. Pau 4:30 pm
Sunday, 11:00 am - Stretching/warmups at Kilauea gym outside court. 12:00 pm - H1 Thunder vs. Hoops4Christ (CAL Intermediate Gold), Kilauea gym.
