* * * April = CHANGE IS GOOD * * *
April is almost here, which means it's almost time to start the Thunder Loose Change Drive. Every Sunday, including tomorrow if you're as gung ho as me, we'll collect quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies and bring them to practice or games.
The same way we reached out to family and friends, we'll accept loose coins. It could be nickels stuck in the car seat or dimes sitting in the ashtray. However and wherever they come from, we'll take them! Everybody knows somebody with a lot of loose change sitting around.
If you have family and friends who just want to drop off the change somewhere, we'll have an open Sunday afternoon at least twice in April where they can bring the coins to us. Probably at McCully gym or Makiki Park. (I'll finalize those dates after we get our NJB and OBL schedules for April.)
If it's easier to e-mail your friends and family about our latest fundraiser, I'll have one posted on the blog later, and I'll e-mail that. Then we can just forward the info.
Change is good!
