Tuesday Funday

The wind finally died down (mostly) today and we took full advantage with 45 minutes of shooting drills. It's my hope that al our Thunder understand that whether it's at practice or on their own time, that getting shooting reps in daily is so important. 20 or 30 shots won't cut it. 200 to 500 every day will help, but it's on each of us to help ourselves in order to help our teammates.

We also got in about 30 minutes of 5-on-5 work (emphasis on fullcourt and halfcourt defense), followed by 45 minutes of scrimmaging with help from Ryan K, Bulla, Drew​ and Maximillian​. Having those Thunder alums/grown men help our Thunder with solid competition is really helping everybody learn to value each possession on offense and defense. Getting smarter and tougher day by day.

Next:
Wednesday, 4:30 pm - Optional shooting practice at Makiki Park. Pau 6:30 pm.

Thursday, 5:55 pm - Stretching/warmups at Lanakila gym outside court. 6:55 pm - H1 Thunder vs. Hustle (Ikaika Intermediate League).

Friday - No practice.

Saturday, 4:50 pm - Stretching/warmups at McCully gym outside court. 5:50 pm - H1 Thunder vs. TBA (Ikaika JV League).

Sunday, time TBA - Ikaika Intermediate League playoffs, Aiea gym
