Excellent team win today over the previously unbeaten Storm. Everybody contributed, we did a fair job of boxing out and a very good job of moving the ball in transition with passes. Started slowly, rallied from an 11- or 12-point deficit with solid man defense and smarter decisions. Once we really attacked their 2-3 zone in the low and high posts, our passing took over. We have a lot of terrific passers who are also aggressive scorers, and that's a great combination to have in any player.
• Solid work on our pressbreaker against their fullcourt press.
• Solid interior defense, especially by Tenchi and Chris.
Great poise and patience today, Thunder. You're in first place and we will keep getting better.

Mahalo to Coach Larry and Coach Bino for their insights and input. Three brains are much better than one. Also, mahalo to Bino for helping to haul our big storage containers of new uniforms, and Natasha Afe for taking one of our empty containers when we ran out of space in my car. Mahalo to Rob Mielke and Kali‘a for transporting one of the storage boxes loaded with new uniforms to the gym.
Also, big mahalo to Lorelai (Colin and Jayden's sister) for shooting the game video. I almost forgot about that.
My apologies to Micah, Jance and Jhevin. The switch to orange jerseys was very last-minute and I forgot to let you guys know. Fortunately, we have extra orange unis and nobody missed out.
It was cool and nostalgic to see our Thunder in orange again. The tradition lives on.
