Congratulations to the Thunder and Coach Larry on a solid win tonight. I got word via text from our parents. We finished the regular season at 6-1 and have the #1 seed in the championship bracket playoffs. Our first playoff game is next Saturday night.
Big mahalo to Ray-Marlyn Ramos for bringing Mosi and Chris to the game. Also mahalo to Jason and Yolie Apuya, and Joel Gormley for offering to help transport the guys. Mahalo to Kali'a and his dad, Rob Mielke, for transporting the basketballs, uniforms, white board and camera to the game. Mahalo to Coach Bino for bringing everything home. I'll pick everything up from him later tonight (after work). Looking forward to seeing the game video!
Next:
Sunday, 3 pm - Optional shooting practice. It's Mother's Day, so enjoy some special time with your moms. If you have the afternoon free, come to Makiki Park and get some shooting reps in. Parents meeting to follow at 5 pm for those who are available. I want everyone's feedback on upcoming summer leagues and possible travel plans.
