Sunday splash (updated 10:15 pm)

If you haven't sold your Car Wash presale tickets yet, please get it done today. The Car Wash is our best opportunity to make the funds we need to pay for every league and tournament. The cost for this fall's leagues is $2,140 not counting the NJB All-Net player insurance ($5/per player). Then there are costs for post-game food, Gatorade and ice (daily), laundry (yes, that's $1.50 per wash at my laundromat), jerseys ($35 each) and so on.

NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT SELL TICKETS, I EXPECT YOU TO WORK BOTH AM AND PM SHIFTS. It's only fair. I am not going to let myself go broke (again) funding everything. And those of you who don't do your share selling tickets will (kind of) earn it by working the car wash all day with me and a bunch of the guys who already offered to work both shifts.

Here's the update on tomorrow's Car Wash: Coach Roy is bringing his hose house, Tai has a super trigger (for hoses), Auntie Devi already dropped off four massive cones and three buckets. I'm probably going to get a tent ($70?), and Auntie Char and Coach Bo are bringing a table.

EVERYONE PLEASE BRING PORTABLE/COLLAPSABLE CHAIRS so we all can take breaks and rest during the long day.

Everyone is expected to bring the Car Wash ticket sales money to the Car Wash. If you don't sell your tickets, please make a donation. If everyone pays $50 each, we'll be close to our goal and my checking account won't go broke again. So sell, sell, sell. You have neighbors, your parents have work friends, make it happen. It's only five tickets. Some guys have sold 10!

If you somehow still do not have tickets, call me (551-1054) and I'll get them to you today. 

No practice today. Cancelled so I can make sure we have all our supplies and stuff for the Car Wash. It's gonna be a fun Sunday (Funday)! It's amazing what we've done to prepare simply by working together. I LUB IT!
