Just got word from the Pa‘a League: 17U plays on Saturday, Aug. 4, 10:45 am at Halawa Gym. That league's schedule will be released week to week. They're trying to get gym time across town. Games are in almost every gym they can secure.
More scheduling info on all leagues for all our age groups when I get them. Pa‘a had told us before that the league wouldn't start until Aug. 7, so this is a head's up. They also had told us that there would not be any games (for us) in Kaneohe and the league official (Gerald) assured me that we won't be scheduled to play there. They had told us all games would be in town, like Kilauea and Koko Head, so Halawa is news to me.
Pa‘a also wants us in its 15U league. We may do that if we have enough funds from this weekend's car wash.
CAL 13U and 15U are scheduled to begin on Aug. 10. NJB's 17U league doesn't begin until late August.
