Got word from Coach Allen (Palolo Rush and Palolo Texans football) that his brother-in-law
nephew, Jaren, was injured today in a moped accident. Jaren suffered a head injury and will have surgery tonight for his cheekbone. Fortunately, there is no sign of injury to his brain. Please keep Jaren in your prayers tonight for a smooth surgery and recovery. Jaren played one game with our 13U at the beginning of the CAL season, but has been busy with summer training for Kaimuki football and basketball.
This is going to be a tough time sitting out and healing up for him, as it would for any incoming freshman. Very talented athlete. Jaren — I'll be praying for you.
Also please keep Tanielu and Chris' dad, Passion, in your prayers. He's recovering from gall bladder surgery and has been sidelined for the past week. He's well enough to get around just a little, but the recovery will take time.
