With Jared playing for Roosevelt, Kyle Moraga practicing and playing with McKinley varsity and Kapaa Nishimura working out and playing with Kalani varsity, this is a first for the Thunder: three freshmen-to-be playing varsity summer ball for three different schools. AWESOME.
It is, in essence, the original Beautiful Game. While the design is wonderful DNA, the guts of the system is work ethic. Like anything else, nothing worth working for is acquired without blood, sweat and tears, and not necessarily in this order.

Fun Sights
It was cool to see Jared Elwin lace his sneakers up for Roosevelt varsity last night at the Kalani League. He started practicing with them only the day before. He got some minutes off the bench and was key in the win. He got a steal off Kalani's PG before halftime (crossover fail), then hit an open 3 from the right wing. He also had a feed for a basket on a fastbreak.
