Good work by the Thunder this morning at Koko Head Gym. We had nine guys in uniform and everybody contributed. Good passing, good defense and, good thing for us, Tar Heels were cold from the 3-point line today. Today's lineup: Kyle Moraga, Joshua de Jesus (Josh), Chris Tatupu Afe, Tanielu Mosi Afe, Micah Visoria, Walter Berthold (Mark A. Berthold), Jared Elwin, Kalai Kuia (Kali Kuia) and Kali'a Mielke.
It was the season finale for our 13U team in NJB All-Net League. We started out 6-0 in pool play, reached the second round of the playoff and finished the season 9-1. We're at a certain, pretty good level of basketball now. Moving up to the next level will take the same dedication and work ethic. Good group of guys that I'm proud to be a coach of. Sometimes goofy, always looking out for each other. Unselfish and 100% heart.
