OK, we have a total count of 42 going to the team party/dinner at Buca di Beppo. (I'm finally spelling it right.) Be there by 4:00 or earlier if you want to eat.
(NOTE: There have been a lot of updates today from Thunder parents/players. Buca said they can't take any more changes to the head count after 12:30 pm. So if you plan on crashing the party instead of just calling/texting me right now 551-1054, sorry, there will be no seating left. If you were a "maybe" yesterday, you are not on the list until you inform me that you and your family are definitely going.)
I'm covering the cost for players, coaches and our video camera operators. They will have cuisine from the Milano menu (buffet), which includes main course, salad, dessert and soft drinks.
Parents and siblings can order from the menu individually (more choices). They have good food from what I remember, range of prices.
I haven't had the time to go get a nice sign made or order a giant cake to commemorate the event. (Maybe next time.) We're celebrating the two JV League championships (Ikaika, Le Jardin) and the Intermediate title (Maui Summer Classic), but this is also a celebration of the work and the success ALL of our players have achieved since November in all age groups.
