# H1 Thunder 29, i9 Spartans 21
PAA 4th Grade*
Kaimuki Community Park gym
Special mahalo to Kellen, EZ and DJ for filming and narrating this game from
the opening tip to the final buzzer.
Great teamwork and hustle by our 4th Grade Pups. Slow start and played at stronger by the end of the first half.
PAA season opener. The league announced earlier today that each 4th Grade team will be permitted to roster two 5th graders, but they cannot be ringers, or elite-level players. i9 Spartans had two 5th graders and a lot of 3rd graders, not many subs. This is why Coach Lloyd and Uncle Gerald of PAA are being flexible, and we adapt to it. Ethan (Ebomb) and Caleb were our 5th graders in this game.
Eisley and Avari were aggressive against their man defense. Their development and courage has been great to watch in the past year. Makes coaching worth all the time and energy. Wouldn't trade this for anything 🙂
Dylan played tremendous defense on ball, really quick lateral movement and hands. Miki is still under the weather a bit, but had a smooth steal and assist before she rested with a headache. Amac hustled like crazy on both ends. This was another typical gritty, tough win by our 4th Grade Pups. Their heart is immeasurable!
