Not so long ago...

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-nbas-next-shooting-revolution-has-already-been-televised/

Long before the Golden State Warriors were splashing threes from long range, the H1 Thunder were excelling at small ball, pressing foes like LMU in its heyday. I still don't know another 13U/Intermediate team that has made 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 treys per game with regularity like our guys did in the past two years. Hopefully we get back to that with Sunday practices and daily shooting reps.

For the younger guys, that will be through the fall and winter as the Intermediate and Elementary (and 4th grade) leagues start up their new seasons in January. For our older (high school) players, that will be in late February when they finish their school seasons. (Aiea had its Intermediate League in November and December last year. I'll see if they have another one this winter.)

I don't know exactly how many Varsity/JV guys we'll have back by then, but it needs to be at a decent number (8-10 per team) if we're going to peak by the time we travel to the mainland.
