Basic drills: ballhandling

Daily work to improve your basic handles

Stationary
ball around knees, through knees
ball through legs, over back
fingertips
rocker/behind back squat
frankenstein
behind the back flip over shoulder

Halfcourt
run with ball through legs
dribble ball through legs
backwards dribble ball through legs
triple dribble ball through legs
zig-zag: through legs, spin, behind back
squat dribble to foul line and back
spider to foul line and back

Shamgod Ballhandling
Around key and top of circle
through legs
crossover
behind back (one hand)
behind back (switch to other hand, change direction)
through legs, behind back
Bonus
behind back Shamgod and through legs
Shamgod one-hand left-right-left
inside-out (fake crossover, then cross)
through legs (double) and spin
Hardaway UTEP 2-step
spin, through legs, cross
