Super mahalo to Uncle Dean Anderson for filming this game from start to finish. Again, a slow start, no physicality or energy, guys doing their own thing, not following instructions. Then, with about 5 minutes left in the first half through the end of the game, we actually played basketball.

Wildcats are from Holy Family, and their athletic department fully supports basketball and feeds into many private school JV and Varsity programs. So it's encouraging that our guys brought the lead down from above 20 points (think it was 25 at one point) and competed much better.

Progress one step, one day at a time. Now, if everyone shows up to every practice, early or on time, and every game, early, that progress and process will accelerate. If this group of. Thunder Pups truly works hard and improves drastically, we will look to enter JV league at Maryknoll and elsewhere. We'll need older players, too. But if things remain the same, less than full commitment, I will not force them to play in JV leagues. Not until they show they want it. We're getting there, I think.
