The H1 Thunder Loose Change Collection Drive tips off on Sunday, Apr. 27. All players can bring loose coins to Sunday's workout at McCully gym (11:00 am). The collection drive will continue until the end of April and beyond, if necessary.
Please dig everywhere for loose coins, and if family and friends want to help out, have them bring you their loose change, too. Once we collect the change, we'll sit down and pack them separately (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters). Everybody's got change. Change is good!
For the friends and family who have change that needs to be picked up, let me know and we'll set aside a Coin Pickup day, probably on a Sunday. I'll go drive around to pick the change up with help from some of our Thunder players and parents.
We've got new uniforms to order, new leagues coming up, and a mainland trip to fund. We're getting busy!
