Wednesday funday

Good workout today at Makiki Park. 5 strong: Joshua de Jesus, Kali'a Mielke, Ryan Higashionna, Kyle Moraga and Hsien Pascua. Got some ballhandling and defensive work in, though not quite enough. There are good habits to keep repeating and bad habits we need to eliminate, and that comes with practice and repetition. Then we scrimmaged 3-on-3. Kyle, Kali‘a and Ryan against Hsien, Josh and Coach Paul. Kyle's team led something like 26-12 before Josh's team made a run. It was 32-29 with less than a minute left, but Kyle free throws to ice it. Final was 36-31 (something like that).

Ryan was the leading scorer for his team, running backdoor for passes from Kali‘a and Kyle. Hsien was the top scorer for his team.

Next: Saturday, 2:00 pm, practice, Makiki Park. Hopefully, we have enough for 4-on-4 or 5-on-5 fullcourt. Then Sunday, 11:00 am, McCully gym. WE LUB THIS GAME!
