One of our guys mentioned to me before the second game that his blue uniform was drenched after the first game. The past couple of years, I've left decisions about which uniforms to wear up to you guys as players. So if there was going to be a switch to orange, this would've been the right time.
Right?
Nope. Everybody wore the blue for some reason. Sweaty uniforms lead to wet basketballs and make them harder to control.
I heard some excuses about this and that today, some legit and some just the result of mediocre refereeing. But this one about the uniforms is real. So from now on, if a uniform decision makes no sense, I'll step in. You guys should've had the common sense to switch to a dry uniform on a 94-degree day.
