We needed to face physical, halfcourt man defense in today's scrimmage and I wasn't satisfied with that. That will take time, not just to implement as a team, but to face on a daily basis. That's what we face in games, and that's what we need to face on the hardcourt at practice.
I like what we did today, and I like the battles within battles on the court. It makes us better, bit by bit, day by day. A little feistiness is good. Just remember we're in this together and move forward.
Good bonus workout for Felcris, Josh and Chris after practice. They got up about 100 extra shots each. Good to see iron sharpening iron. Chase also got a few more shots in before they played 2-on-2 for about 30 minutes. Summer is good.
