It is, in essence, the original Beautiful Game. While the design is wonderful DNA, the guts of the system is work ethic. Like anything else, nothing worth working for is acquired without blood, sweat and tears, and not necessarily in this order.

RTG 28, H1 Thunder 25 (CAL 8th)
# RTG 28, H1 Thunder 25
CAL 8th Grade Silver
Damien gym
Huge mahalo to Uncle Dean for filming our first 8th Grade game of winter season. It's a work in progress, our more experienced Pups learning to lead the way and our new Pups getting comfortable.
We trailed by 12 at halftime, then went on a 14-2 run to tie it at 21 at the end of the 3rd quarter. We led 23-21.
We were right there at 25-all, still playing good defense when we had a breakdown and let RTG's beat shooter make a wide-open wing 3 with about 1 minute left.
We missed our last few shots but overall this was a good lesson for our Pups. Kona and Noel had some strong plays in the paint, and EZ and DJ continued their solid shooting from the earlier 6th grade game.
We'll be back to practice and work on getting better every day. #h1thunder#workhardplayhard #greatteammates
Front: Noel Dave Patricio, Duke, Ethan (EZ), DJ. Back: Jonathan Lam, Kona Anderson, Kye, Haden, Eisley, Donavan Tihpen.
