Maui Summer Classic, Intermediate Division
The second of a back-to-back took a toll on our guys. We struggled from the 3-point line and had trouble getting clean looks inside against a very tall team.
Our press kept us in the game. We got within 4 in the final minute. Similar in some ways to our Tuesday game against Southside (Inter). Got our legs back late and had a flurry of steals in the final 3 minutes.
We're 1-2 in intermediate but I believe we can win the title. Especially if we dont have to play back to backs. The guys -- its not their fault the schedule was that way. They played their hearts out.
We play IMUA 7 at 4 pm in our last pool play game.
