Got a chance to do a lot of triple-threat/jab step work today, a good 20 or so minutes, nonstop. Then we hit the check list of stuff to work on. BOXING OUT at the top. Mahalo to Bino and Jayna for stepping in and helping us. The Pups were on the court today, and after giving up a ton of offensive rebounds last night, they did much better today against the likes of some 200-plus pounders like me and Bino.
When they put their minds to it, they do a solid job of boxing out. We just have to keep repping this until it becomes automatic for all five defenders at all times.
Also got a lot of halfcourt execution work in, plus one of our inbounds plays. Reps matter, reps matter, reps matter. Always have, always will.
