More good news (updated 945 pm)

Here's a follow-up on yesterday's news about the Aiea 12U League.

The commissioner (Rob Godinez) said he'll allow Jared and Josh to play. Both of them are 12, but will be 13 at the league's cutoff date (Sept. 1). Rob is graciously making the exception so that we have enough players.

So that gives us six players for 12U. One of them is Micah Visoria, who has baseball on Saturdays, so please ask around and bring in your friends who would like to play. Games are on Saturday mornings.

I also asked Rob if he would allow Micah Tong (he is 12, but turns 13 soon) to play.

Update 2:55 pm Rob just informed me that Micah Tong will be permitted to play. So that gives us seven players. More like 6.5 because Micah Visoria has a baseball commitment on game days.

Also, my brother's bro-in-law said he'd let his son, Kai, play with us. Kai is 10, but he's a really good, quick guard. Kai's school friend may play with us, too.

That would give us nine players. Thank you, Lord!

Update 9:45 pm Just found out Kai is busy on Saturdays (plays for his other team in the CAL Elementary School Division). But his friend, Jaylen, is interested. I also saw Malosi Viena and his family at the ‘Iolani-Punahou girls game tonight and his parents said he can play with us in 12U. So we're at 9 players (including Micah Visoria, who will be busy with baseball). Still room for one more guy (or girl).
