The math is basic. Repetition leads to success. The more repetition, the more rapid the rate of improvement. Now, we didn't spend all practice on individual basics. We did enough on shooting and ballhanding, then went over (quickly) some of our defenses plus transition offense. One practice a week isn't really going to accelerate our growth as a team, especially with so many new players, so I'm looking at the possibility of practicing during the week two or three times. Most of the team is not playing spring sports, so it's worth consideration.
Not everyone today received all the parental waiver forms needed for the Aiea tournament and NJB All-Net League, so I'm posting those forms here. Please download and fill out only the pages that require player information and parental signature.
I'll figure out practice days by tomorrow and post them here, and call everyone with the info, too. It was great to meet the new guys today. The future is bright!
