Ikaika League, JV Division, Salt Lake gym
Good team win. Passing, defense A-. Working the ball inside out through Kali'a A-. Boxing out C-.
This was a smarter, more sensible team effort by our JV squad, especially compared to last week. As long as we play together and work as a unit on every offensive and defensive possession, great things can happen. This win in Ikaika JV Division wasn't easy. It was close into the second half (24-all), and in this league, we don't have a lot of height. We rebounded just well enough against another tall team to get by. Nice work on our press most of the time, very good passing on offense.
Jayden continues to shoot well, great balance and patience. When he and Felcris were on the floor with our youngest players off the bench, they helped build up the lead to double digits.
