Tough, gritty win tonight over Hoops4Christ Black in the Aiea League playoffs. It was a rough shooting night for some of our guys, but we stayed focused, grabbed the lead in the second half and took control of the tempo. Good win over a tall, determined H4C squad.
17U is now in the semifinals and will play the Aiea Blazers on Friday, 7:00 pm. It's going to be a challenging night with three of our teams in action, so getting to Aiea gym by game time will not be easy for some of us. (I'll be working at a baseball game until 6:00 or 6:15.) Also, four of our guys will be busy at school activities.
This means the rest of our guys will have to step up and play smart basketball. WE LUB THIS GAME!
